ACADEMIC SUPPORT SERVICES
Our Center for Academic, Personal and Professional Excellence (CAPPE) exists to nurture students’ academic success, personal well-being and to provide career guidance.
The CAPPE program is an innovative, five- pronged program (Health & Wellness, Continuing Education & Lifelong Learning, Outreach & Public Engagement, Career & Professional Development, and Tutoring & Mentoring) dedicated to complete student success at MacCormac. It was on the essential idea of serving the whole student that Chancellor Alexis Stephens was inspired to create a center that encapsulates and enriches the student experience; empowers each individual to grow and continue to learn; prepares each student to enter the workforce and become vibrant members of the community; and progresses every MacCormac student through graduation. We also have a reputation for supporting women and single mothers to reach their educational and career goals.
